EXTRA is the masterpiece that introduced Kojo Morimoto to audiences worldwide. This music video for Ken Ishii, the trailblazer of Japanese techno, came out in 1995. It perfectly embodies Koji Morimoto's signature aesthetic of the Asian back alley world and earned tremendous praise both in Japan and abroad. The video played a major role in sparking the great Japanimation boom and was honored with the "MTV Dance Video of the Year" award in England.
