Slam Dunk: Ketsui no Shouhoku Basket-bu

Synopsis

Shohoku High takes on Ryonan in a practice game, marking the first official appearance of promising newcomer Hanamichi Sakuragi. The intense rivalry fuels the determination of captain Akagi and rookie Rukawa, both displaying exceptional talent, which results in a fierce and highly competitive contest. Late in the game, possession of the ball falls to Ryonan’s star player, Sendo. The story tracks Hanamichi’s rapid improvement. Meanwhile, Haruko runs into Hikoichi by chance, and the two share their thoughts on each of their teams.
