Synopsis
Adachi-ga Hara" follows an astronaut dispatched to a penal colony planet, where they encounter an elderly woman who reveals profound truths about life and love. Originally a short manga in "The Lion Books," it was later adapted into an anime. The protagonist, Jess, aims to dismantle the oppressive regime controlling Earth and its colonies, but is captured and exiled to a prison world. The story traces Jess's journey, incorporating thematic elements from the Japanese Noh play "Kurozuka.
