Synopsis

Two millennia of isolation would frazzle any young fellow—except Asley, an eternally youthful and eternally foolish sorcerer. After all, he has his trusty animal companion (technically his familiar) to keep him company. When his Level 100 canine partner Pochi insists he step outside for a breath of fresh air for the first time in two centuries, Asley sets out to rejoin society and prove his magical worth. His goal? Shedding a few unflattering nicknames and repairing his reputation (which is at best mediocre). A new world full of novel experiences awaits Asley after his centuries of seclusion. Perhaps he'll help Pochi win first place in the mysterious Familiar Feud competition. Or maybe he'll completely abandon his dignity and run away. Whichever happens sooner! Regardless, Asley has great evils to battle, a vast world to save, and even some personal growth to undergo...that is, if he can tolerate Pochi's so-called “helpful tips” along the way!
