Synopsis

Hana Tabata, only fifteen years old, has already convinced herself that she's unlikely to experience a memorable high school romance. Her passions include shoujo manga, flowers, and all things kawaii, yet she sees herself as nothing more than a supporting character—a bit overweight, with a round face, glasses, and freckles, traits she considers conventionally unattractive. Her life takes an unforeseen turn when she strikes up a friendship with the friendly and charming classmate Yousuke Ueno. While Tabata struggles to understand the unfamiliar emotions this friendship awakens within her, she remains completely unaware that a romantic story is quietly beginning to take shape around her.
