Madoka Kyouno is a vibrant girl brimming with enthusiasm. As the sole, proud member of Kamogawa Girls' High School's Jersey Club, she spends her time assisting those in need around town. Madoka's world is turned upside down when a mysterious girl named Lan suddenly asks her to pilot a robot. Driven by her wish to safeguard the people and city of Kamogawa, Madoka agrees to take control of the revived Vox robot and battle the extraterrestrials that have arrived to attack Earth.

In this installment

Yoko assigns her assistant the task of searching the ocean floor for a mysterious object, while Madoka struggles with piloting Midori and returns to Kamogawa for the New Year celebration. After arriving home, Madoka exchanges New Year's greetings with Lan and Muginami, learning what they have been up to and responding in kind. As time goes on, Madoka advances to the next grade at school, while Lan and Muginami explore a replica of Kamogawa located on the intergalactic tourist planet Polyhedron. This story takes place between the first and second seasons.
