Killing Bites

Synopsis

In "Killing Bites," college student Yuuya Nomoto is accidentally pulled into a kidnapping scheme, only to witness his accomplices get killed by Hitomi Uzaki, the high school girl they were meant to abduct. Forced at gunpoint to drive her to a hidden location, Yuuya learns he has become a pawn in a deadly clash between two Therianthropes—genetically engineered human-animal hybrids. Hitomi, using the speed and ferocity of her ratel DNA, swiftly eliminates her rival and spares Yuuya's life. After waking, Yuuya hopes it was all a nightmare, but he soon realizes he is trapped in a secret proxy war among four major Japanese corporations, where the victor will gain significant economic control. Now, as Hitomi's reluctant backer, Yuuya's survival hinges entirely on her involvement in the brutal, hidden battles known as Killing Bites.
