Running Boy: Star Soldier no Himitsu

Synopsis

This anime was produced by Hudson Soft, the company behind the "Star Soldier" video game series. It includes a cameo appearance by the game's designer, Yoichi Takahashi, who also sings the theme songs. By coincidence, the film's release date coincided with that of "Super Mario Bros.," another movie adaptation of a video game. Unfortunately, it was not successful at the Japanese box office.
