Synopsis
In a world where dark rain falls without end, people rely on umbrellas to survive. The story follows a man who abandons his umbrella and receives a unique green plant, something rare in this otherwise colorless setting. The distinctiveness of this object ignites widespread jealousy and a frantic scramble to claim it among the inhabitants. This animated short was created by Wenrui Huang in 2016 during her first year of study in the Animation Department at the Graduate School of Film and New Media, Tokyo University of the Arts.
