Synopsis
Continues the story of Dream-Eating Monochrome Baku
This song revolves around the Japanese mythological creature known as the Baku, which is said to devour the nightmares and dreams of humans. In this song, Len takes on the role of the Baku. He lures an innocent girl who struggles with sleep by removing her bad dreams. He then "seals the spell" with a pinky promise and later a kiss. In the end, "when the full moon rises," he steals her soul and carries her empty body away to his "monochrome world."
In this installment
A baku visits the coffin of a woman he once loved, who succumbed to a mysterious illness. He admits to stealing souls in order to sustain her life, planning to continue until she awakens from her coma. Yet he is tortured by the knowledge that the dreams he supplies her have become nightmares.
