Synopsis
This 2020 Chinese animated feature, titled Wu Sheng Guan Gong, was produced over three years by the Haizhou Guandi Temple Conservation Institute in Yuncheng. Set in the late Eastern Han Dynasty, it follows Guan Yu, a loyal and righteous general who rises from Yuncheng to become a legendary military hero, later revered throughout China as the God of War.
