Jellyfish Can't Swim in the Night

Synopsis

Mahiru Kouzuki, a gifted illustrator, abandons her dreams after her elementary school classmates mock her vivid jellyfish mural. Later, she meets Kano Yamanouchi, a former idol facing her own hardships, who unexpectedly praises Mahiru's artwork. Inspired by Kano's admiration, Mahiru decides to reignite her childhood passion. When Kano invites Mahiru to design the mascot for her upcoming musical project, JELEE, Mahiru enlists the help of Kiui Watase, her childhood friend and a professional streamer, to create JELEE's first music video. Together with Kim Anouk Mei Takanashi, a pianist and fan of Kano's idol days, the trio aims to turn JELEE into a global sensation. To reach this ambitious goal, however, they must overcome the shadows of their past experiences.
