Synopsis

Katsuhira Agata is a quiet, withdrawn high school student who has nearly lost his ability to feel pain, making him an easy target for bullies who exploit his indifferent nature to extort money. His classmate Chidori Takashiro is one of the few who remembers what Katsuhira was like before he became emotionally numb. One day, Katsuhira, Chidori, and four other teenagers are kidnapped and forced into the Kizuna System as "Kiznaivers." This system connects them through shared pain, meaning any injury inflicted on one member is felt equally by all the others. They are unwilling participants in a flawed experiment designed to bring about global peace, and their survival depends on revealing their true selves to one another, or else they will face consequences far worse than the collapse of the Kizuna System itself.
