In Terra Formars: Revenge, the Annex I crew persists in their struggle against the Terraformars—enormous humanoid cockroaches that developed from samples initially sent to Mars. Instead of discovering a remedy for the devastating Alien Engine Virus ravaging Earth, the Annex I team finds that various squads are motivated by their own nationalistic objectives. Consequently, the fighters must battle both the Terraformars to stay alive and one another in an endless pursuit of global supremacy.

With the Mars mission ending, a number of Terraformars succeed in arriving on Earth, escalating the conflict. Survivors from ANNEX-I, joined by fresh forces, are compelled to protect the world from the increasing threat of the roaches.
