The recap specials of Inazuma Eleven Go were produced to bring viewers up to speed on the franchise's newest events ahead of the film Inazuma Eleven Go: Kyuukyoku no Kizuna Gryphon. The second recap episode aired simultaneously with the movie's theatrical release. Both specials were later included on the 12th DVD volume of the main series.
