Synopsis

After achieving success as a professional animator and completing her directorial debut, Natsuko Hirose is under pressure to deliver another hit. Struggling with strict deadlines and obsessive oversight of every detail, she eventually collapses from food poisoning. Waking up in an unfamiliar place, Natsuko finds herself chased by a creature known as a Void. She is rescued by the esteemed Nine Soldiers, which include Luke Braveheart, Memmeln, QJ, and Unio. Though initially wary, Natsuko soon realizes she has been transported into the universe of her childhood favorite film, A Tale of Perishing. As the familiar story unfolds, she tries to prevent the looming tragedy caused by the Void invasion. Unexpectedly, Natsuko discovers she can bring her sketches to life when her animation peg bar starts to glow. She begins fighting Voids as they appear, altering the narrative and joining forces with the Nine Soldiers. Using her newfound powers and deep knowledge of the movie, Natsuko aims to change events and find a way back to her own world.
