Synopsis

In the virtual world of Tsukuyomi, dreams and desires become intertwined. Seventeen-year-old Tokyo high school student Iroha Sakayori juggles a hectic schedule of part-time jobs and schoolwork. She often seeks refuge in the online realm of Tsukuyomi, which is managed by the popular streamer Yachiyo Runami. Iroha visits Tsukuyomi to explore creative outlets and participate in battles to earn extra money. One evening on her way home, she notices a glowing telephone pole and finds a tiny baby inside. Feeling a sense of responsibility, Iroha takes the child home, only to watch it rapidly grow into a girl her own age. "Are you Princess Kaguya?" As Kaguya matures, she displays a rather self-centered personality. Eager to break into streaming, Kaguya asks Iroha for help. Together, they start this new endeavor—Iroha handles production and songwriting, while Kaguya takes the role of streamer and performer. As their connection deepens, hidden threats emerge, intent on capturing Kaguya and sending her back to the moon. This story offers a new take on the classic legend of Princess Kaguya.
