Synopsis
After Dao Zong, the supreme ruler of the martial arts world, was assassinated in a conspiracy, the heads of every major faction met death or imprisonment, throwing the jianghu into complete upheaval. Hoping to restore order, Yan Jiyu, the master of Changfeng Pavilion, sent envoys to all the sects, aiming to forge a new "righteous" martial arts order under his own command. At this very moment, however, the inexperienced Yang Ren was given the task of delivering a letter left behind by Dao Zong. Along the way, he was ambushed by powerful enemies at every turn, yet through sheer passion and a code of chivalry, he kept surpassing his own limits and toppling his foes. As his martial arts improved at an astonishing pace, he also crossed paths with a group of noble and righteous fighters. What should the martial arts world truly look like? Yang Ren could not say, but he knew with certainty that it was not what Yan Jiyu claimed. Raising a great banner in the name of "Chengfeng Gang," Yang Ren swiftly drew in those across the jianghu who opposed Yan Jiyu. The war had begun, and no one could remain uninvolved.
