Spirit of Wonder: Miss China's Ring

Synopsis

On a picturesque European island, a cherished bar and restaurant named Tenkai is operated by an immigrant affectionately called "Miss China." In addition to managing her thriving establishment, Miss China leases the upstairs space to Jim, a budding inventor who works with Mr. Breckenridge in their crude workshop. Although the scientific community frequently mocks their inventions, Jim and Mr. Breckenridge continue to firmly believe their work will transform the world. But as Miss China grows increasingly frustrated with their habit of paying rent late, the inventors must demonstrate the worth of their projects to escape being thrown out.
