To avert a clash between the two groups, Bai Xiaochun takes on the alias of Ye Zang and sneaks into the opposing Blood Stream Sect. Rising through its hierarchy, he at last achieves the position of Blood Child. Yet, will he succeed in stopping the looming war between the sects?

After uniting the four downstream sects under the Reverse River Sect and defeating the three midstream sects, Bai Xiaochun solidified his position. Yet his journey took a new twist: he was chosen as a hostage by the 天人 of the upstream 星天道宗, marking the start of the third season and the hostage arc.
