Synopsis

Continues the story of Zetsuai 1989

Following his late-night shift at a gas station, Takuto Izumi finds an unconscious, seemingly drunk young man lying on the roadside. Acting out of obligation, he brings the stranger back to his apartment to rest. The next day, Takuto is stunned to realize the person he helped is the hugely popular musician and model, Kouji Nanjou. Focused on his goal of becoming the best soccer player in high school, Takuto tries to cut all ties with Kouji, but something about Takuto's attitude sparks Kouji's interest, making him want to stay connected. Kouji's fascination grows when he learns that Takuto witnessed the murder of his father by Takuto’s mother. What begins as simple curiosity turns into a intense, dangerous obsession as their paths keep intersecting.
