Synopsis
In the year 2050, Derrida Yvain, a gifted young engineer, works at Rebuild—the company his father founded—developing the "Autonomous Machine DZ." With his colleague Nathan, Derrida identifies a critical flaw in the DZ units and attempts to alert management, but their warnings are dismissed. After a peaceful birthday celebration for Nathan’s daughter, Mage, they are ambushed by unknown attackers. During the escape, Derrida is forced into a cryogenic pod and remains suspended for ten years. Waking up, he discovers a world ravaged by conflict. As he battles a swarm of rogue DZs, Derrida recalls Nathan’s final plea to "take care of Mage." Fueled by resolve, he sets out to find her.
