Synopsis
The narrative centers on thirteen-year-old Meguru Tokio, who is abruptly approached by a mysterious woman fleeing from an unknown threat. Meguru learns that this girl is also named Meguru, appearing to be around seventeen or eighteen years old, and possesses a fervent personality that the younger Meguru finds difficult to handle. Meguru Tokio becomes entangled in the older Meguru's conflict with a secret organization, drawing the organization's attention toward herself as well. Their pursuer from the organization is the narcissistic Rei. Though the younger Meguru cannot accept that the older one hails from the future, she joins forces with her to pilot a dimensional robot. Following their battle with Rei, she discovers that, despite being older, the other Meguru is actually Meguru Tokio's descendant. When the older Meguru's history surveillance device reveals that someone has traveled into the past, the pair makes a leap backward in time as well.
