Synopsis
Continues the story of Dinosaur King
Dr. Taylor, along with his son Max, was carrying out a paleontological research trip in Africa, with Max's best friend Rex joining in on the expedition. During their time there, Max came across strange stone tablets etched with images of dinosaurs, and soon the boys and their companion Zoe found themselves being called upon by those very dinosaurs for assistance. It turns out that a villainous organization known as the Alpha Gang, led by the sinister Dr. Z, had gone back in time to capture the dinosaurs, intending to use them as a means of taking over the world. Now it is up to Max, Rex, and Zoe to journey across the globe in search of the dinosaurs, all while putting a stop to Dr. Z and the Alpha Gang's schemes.

The story continues after the events of Kodai Oja Kyoryu King. The Alpha Gang and the Ancients gather together. While the parents are talking, Gunenco, a member of the Zanjark Space Aliens, suddenly abducts them. This incident forces the Alpha Gang and the D-Team to join forces against the Zanjark Space Aliens, who seek to capture the Cosmos Stones. Seth later returns, now working alongside the Zanjark Space Aliens. Jark, the leader of the Zanjark group, provides the dinosaur cards.
