Synopsis
Continues the story of Kamisama Minarai: Himitsu no Cocotama
Cocotama are miniature gods born from the thoughts and feelings of objects that people treasure and use with great care. The fact that each Cocotama wears part of the egg they hatched from as underwear is a sign that they are still apprentices. These tiny gods wield a mysterious magic and work hard to be helpful to humans so they can become full-fledged gods. They dwell inside human homes and move about secretly, assisting people in finding lost items, though they often make mistakes along the way.

Long ago, Haruka Hoshinogawa made a wish with her grandfather beneath the town's old cherry blossom tree and received a cherry blossom ribbon as a present from him. As she grew up, she treasured that gift while beginning fifth grade at her school. One day, noticing the old cherry blossom tree was wilting, her grandfather decided to leave the shop and travel the world, entrusting Haruka with its care in his absence. The next night while she slept, her treasured ribbon sprouted a strange egg, which hatched into a Cocotama—a god born from an object that has been cherished with love and care. Haruka woke up and accidentally spotted the Cocotama on the table, causing it to retreat into its Hiding Egg. When she picked up the egg, it transformed into a mysterious key. Left with questions, the Cocotama introduced herself as Ribbon, and Haruka learned about the existence of such beings and the mysteries surrounding the strange key she now held. Ribbon realized that the key was actually the Key of Wonders, and that Haruka had been chosen by it as the Legendary Contractor to the Cocotamas. Now, the two of them strive to run the shop and meet new Cocotama friends while uncovering the mysteries and powers behind the Key of Wonders.
