Synopsis
The demon king Lucifero unexpectedly announces his retirement and needs to pick a successor. One after another, the Devil King Cadets assemble and head to the human realm to take part in the succession competition. However, the demon king's own descendant, Osamu, shows no interest in the contest at all. Rather than concerning himself with the fate of the world, Osamu is far more focused on his part-time job at a convenience store. Despite this, Osamu is forced to start gathering familiars known as "Child," which originate from human souls. Osamu remains preoccupied with his part-time job and lags behind the other Cadets.
