Ninpuu Kamui Gaiden

Synopsis

Set during the Edo period, this story follows Kamui, a ninja who makes the decision to abandon his clan. His former comrades, viewing him as a traitor, relentlessly hunt him down with the intent to kill. Forced to flee, Kamui roams across Japan, relying on his sharp wits and formidable skills to stay alive from one day to the next. As the series progresses, the constant pressure of being a hunted man takes its toll on his mind. Kamui gradually becomes consumed by paranoia, convinced that everyone he encounters is plotting his death, and he finds himself unable to trust anyone he meets along the way.
