Synopsis

Continues the story of Ishura

Following the demon king's death, the world teeters on the edge of chaos as multiple self-proclaimed demon kings from different realms gather in the New Principality of Lithia to compete for supremacy. Among the contenders is Soujirou Yagyuu, a skilled swordsman aiming to claim the title. He travels to Lithia with Tooi Kagizume no Yuno, a young girl he rescued from a golem invasion that destroyed her hometown. Meanwhile, the Aureatia Kingdom tries to undermine Lithia by sending bandits to raid supply caravans passing through the principality. In response, Imashime of Taren, Lithia's founder and a former Aureatia defector, dispatches the ruthless thief Kasasagi no Dakai to investigate the attacks. As tensions rise and the threat of war looms, the impact of the aspiring demon kings remains unpredictable in this volatile situation.

Based on a battle fantasy light novel series authored by Keiso and illustrated by Kureta, the story unfolds in the aftermath of the New Demon King War.
