Synopsis
Anthology film made up of three original animated shorts: Q1 - ÆLIENS: Humanity has entered an age of intergalactic exchange. Amid growing prejudice and fear toward aliens, Elie, an alien girl, arrives on Earth as a goodwill ambassador from space. She adores Earth's culture and its often absurd everyday life, and has joined forces with a civil servant at the space agency in her search for "friends." Q2 - Yotsuyushika★Shoujo: GALs TOKYO—a city where morning never arrives. Night after night, girls who have lost their place in reality, known as "Gal P," gather here. Their aim is to claim victory and become the "Queen" in a game called "Queen of Butterfly," or "QoB" for short. Q3 - Nocturne: Kono Grotesque Yoru ni: A world after humanity has died out. Riding in a van are Ayame, a pure-blooded vampire, and three girls who survived by being bitten and "infected" by her. There, they discover a sky full of stars that light up the night as brightly as day, and fields of shining golden grass—even a barren world looks beautiful through a vampire's eyes. They spend their simple daily lives in this world left behind.
