Continues the story of The iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors
At 283 Production, a producer works to lead his idol units to victory and recognition in the prestigious Wonder Idol Nova Grand Prix (WING). Even though he already oversees several groups, he decides to form a new team called illumination STARS after meeting the gifted singer Mano Sakuragi. As a budding idol, Mano chases her dreams alongside her teammates Hiori Kazano and Meguru Hachimiya. At the same time, the producer concentrates on advancing the standing of his other units, dedicated to fostering their growth into professional idols and helping them discover their distinctive traits. His conviction is that genuine success stems from self-discovery, allowing the idols to become the next generation of stars.
In this installment
After their first concert proved successful, Mano Sakuragi and her companions confront fresh difficulties. Following the debut of Straylight, a new group within 283 Production, the idols are rearranged into different units to prepare for a Halloween event designed to encourage personal growth. In this scenario, Mano has trouble expressing herself, while Hiori Kazano feels alienated because of the superior talents of her new teammates. Meanwhile, Fuyuko Mayuzumi, devastated after not securing the center position with Straylight, struggles to show her true self, putting the entire project at risk. The producer must help Fuyuko move past her doubts so the idols can shine again.
