Synopsis
In the oppressive heat of South America, Michiko Malandro, a hardened criminal, breaks out of a maximum-security prison for the fourth time, driven by her search for a man from her past. Her path crosses with Hana Morenos, a young girl enduring the cruel conditions of her foster home, who yearns for a rescuer to set her free. She never expects this savior to be Michiko, a muscular fugitive who arrives on a stolen motorcycle, claiming to be Hana’s mother. This unlikely pair sets off on a journey across the harsh landscape of Diamandra, confronting dangers such as betrayal, poverty, and hidden child trafficking rings. Yet, word of Michiko’s pursuit reaches the criminal syndicate Monstro Preto, sparking the beginnings of a gang war. Michiko & Hatchin follows a group of diverse individuals with clashing motives, brought together by their search for a single mysterious figure.
