Synopsis
In the world of Shikizakura, cherry blossoms bloom together with vibrant autumn leaves, merging the fleeting human realm with the domain of spirits. This setting serves as the stage for a ritual meant to protect humanity. High school student Kakeru Miwa unexpectedly joins a squad of Yoroi operators—those who pilot advanced power suits combining ancient wisdom with modern technology—to fight the Oni, evil spirits that take over humans and resist being sent back to the spirit world. Driven by his wish to shield Ouka Myoujin, the shrine maiden prophesied to save the world, Kakeru dedicates himself to becoming a hero against the Oni. During the season of Shikizakura, Ouka carries out her shrine maiden duties amid the overlapping beauty of autumn and cherry blossoms. The story unfolds as the past intertwines with the future, the physical world blends with the spiritual, and dreams merge with reality, heralding the start of an epic adventure.
