Synopsis
A century ago, the immortal Tian Quan slew the Mirage Lord in combat, causing the Mirage Spirit to vanish from the land of Cangshuo. But Tian Quan's soul was left incomplete, and she lost all memory of that battle. Afterward, Tian Quan descended to the mortal world to cultivate the land of Cangshuo and adopted an immortal pet bird named Li Xiao. Li Xiao soon transformed into human form, and Tian Quan was struck by how much his appearance and mannerisms resembled those of her past lover Shao Weili. Li Xiao was born with the talent to identify hundreds of medicinal herbs, and he went out to heal the sick and save lives on Tian Quan's behalf. When Tian Quan realized Li Xiao had not returned home for several days, she went to Luoyi Town to search for him. To her shock, the entire town's population had been slaughtered, and the Mirage Spirit had resurfaced. Tian Quan and Li Xiao joined forces to fight the Mirage and resolved the crisis in the town. As Tian Quan gradually recovered her fragmented memories, she discovered a likely link between her deceased lover Shao Weili, Li Xiao, and the Mirage she had killed.
