Synopsis
It is October 1987, during autumn. In Suganami, Tokyo, the Kinoshita family lives on the modest earnings of the father, who works as an ordinary salaryman. To cover expenses, he decides to rent out the second floor of their apartment for extra income. One day, a stubborn-looking elderly dog shows up at their door, accompanied by a younger boy-dog. The elderly dog introduces himself as Norayama Kuroyoshi and presents his grandson as Norakuro. He wants to open a detective agency and intends to rent the unit as its office. He would be the president of the investigation bureau, while Norakuro-kun would serve as director. He also plans to take on one of the Kinoshita sons, Keita-kun, as an employee, and their advisor would be the girl next door, a high school student named Rika Sawaguchi. On the third day after the office officially opens, the telephone rings—a sign of a new case.
