Synopsis

Continues the story of Brave Witches

In the war against the Neuroi, an alien force with overwhelming technology that has spread across Europe and Africa, a new combat unit is formed. Known as the 502nd Joint Fighter Wing or the Brave Witches, this group guards the eastern front, flying over the icy landscapes of Orussia to hunt down extraterrestrial enemies. When one of their members is critically injured before arriving at the base and unable to continue fighting, her sister, Hikari Karibuchi, takes her place. Despite not possessing distinctive abilities or strong magic, Hikari aims to earn the respect of her teammates and demonstrate her worth as a Witch.

In this installment

After the Battle of Britannia drove back the Neuroi and liberated Gallia, Yoshika Miyafuji, a veteran of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing, goes back to Fuso to finish her middle school education. Despite her accomplishments, Yoshika's struggles continue. She finds a letter supposedly from her deceased father, containing blueprints for an advanced Striker Unit he was developing before his death. This custom equipment could channel Yoshika's strong magic more efficiently than ever. At the same time, a fresh danger emerges across Europe. A massive Neuroi nest, bigger and more powerful than any seen before, appears above Venezia, overwhelming local Witch forces and quickly expanding into northern territories. Compounding the crisis, a newly discovered humanoid Neuroi is trying to make contact with humans. Unwilling to abandon her comrades, Yoshika departs again to face these threats on the devastated European front.
