Synopsis
In a world devastated by a lethal disease that killed ninety percent of the populace and reanimated the dead as zombies, thirteen years have elapsed since "Red Day"—the event that ended civilization as it was known. The survivors withdrew from cities, clinging to the hope of one day reclaiming them. A new generation, with no knowledge of life before the catastrophe, is now reaching adulthood. The story begins with Aki, who has no recollection of the pre-apocalyptic world, leaving their village alongside their close friends Haru and Natsuki in search of Aki's missing father. As they venture into the unfamiliar territory, they are quickly overwhelmed by zombies. Along the way, they rescue Yuu and Sakura and take shelter in a home improvement store. After a short rest, they strategize their next move against the undead menace.
