Synopsis

The director sought to create an unprecedented universe, aligning with the aspirations of many computer graphics artists. The core questions revolved around what should be created and how best to realize it through computer graphics, recognizing that the essence of drawing skill remains constant whether on paper or digitally. This project blends traditional cel animation, 3D animation, and 2D computer graphics methods, each rooted in distinct histories and production norms. The thematic focus is "The Transformation of Time and Space," which the director aimed to achieve by integrating ToonShader technology with hand-drawn animation, convinced that this approach has succeeded in delivering a completely new world.
