Synopsis

In the historic city of Edo, known today as Tokyo, two adopted siblings manage a rental business meant to support locals who frequently encounter disasters like fires and floods. Their offerings include both practical goods for speedy evacuations and ancient objects that have gained spirits over the years, called Tsukumogami. These spirit-inhabited items listen in on conversations and share the information as gossip across the town. The kind-hearted siblings strive to settle the troubles caused by this rumor-mongering, harnessing the special powers of the Tsukumogami to restore harmony to the community.
