6HP (Six Hearts Princess)

Synopsis

Haruka Hani is a second-year junior high student attending Hinomori Gakuen. As a member of the school's drama club, she's been writing the script for a play the club intends to stage at the upcoming school festival. She's been struggling to finish it, and her childhood friend Tamaki Teijou has been pushing her to get it done. All things considered, she appears to be leading a happy life. From time to time, creatures called Zaiju (Beasts of Sin) emerge and attack Hinomori, the town where Haruka lives. However, the Heart Princesses rise up to battle these monsters. Haruka admires these princesses who shield the residents of Hinomori from the Zaiju, hoping that she might one day become a princess herself. Then one day, while she's at home working on her script, a mysterious cat named Jin approaches her and says, "You seem to have the right qualities to be a princess. What do you think? Would you become a princess?" Note: The first episode of the anime was left incomplete when it aired. It was broadcast within an hour-long time slot, with the opening 22 minutes consisting of animation and the remaining portion featuring a documentary on the anime's production process and an apology from director Takashi Murakami. The completed version of the first episode was released in September 2017. The subsequent episodes were likewise aired in hour-long blocks accompanied by their respective production documentaries.

Background

The first episode of the anime was unfinished at airing time. It aired within an hour-long block, with the first 22 minutes being animation and the rest of the block consisting of documentary of the anime's creation and an apology from director Takashi Murakami. Murakami currently plans to release two more episodes and a finished first episode.
