
Synopsis
In the story, Sakon Tachibana, a dark-haired bishounen, performs as a puppeteer with his most beloved puppet, Ukon, who is also his closest friend. Sakon is the only grandson of Saemon Tachibana, a celebrated master of Bunraku puppetry and a national treasure of Japan. Ukon is a child doll puppet crafted in the early Meiji era by the acclaimed dollmaker Unosuke. As they journey together, Sakon and Ukon find themselves unraveling and resolving a series of murders.
