Nutsberry Town
Chirorin Mura Monogatari
チロリン村物語
Synopsis
Nutsberry Town is a quiet rural village surrounded by shimmering lakes, lush forests, and verdant fields, where old-fashioned values are still cherished. The town is home to Snappy the Onion, Wendy the Walnut, and Pee Wee the Peanut, known together as the "Kooky Kids," who love playing playful tricks. Despite their harmless intentions, the Kooky Kids often end up in mischief as they constantly seek out fun and adventure. With no video arcades, shopping centers, or amusement parks in Nutsberry Town, the children entertain themselves using the natural surroundings and their vivid imaginations. This series draws inspiration from Chirorin Mura To Kurumi No Ki, a beloved children's puppet show that originally aired on NHK from 1959 to 1964, and has been revived to evoke nostalgia among those who watched the original.
