Synopsis
Set in mythical third-century Japan, this historical fantasy follows Izumo, the young prince of Nakatsukuni. While his scholarly cousin Dekiru remains at home, Izumo longs to venture beyond his domain. A secret meeting with Sanae—who claims to be from Yamataikoku but is actually a Naga mage—changes everything. Captured by Takeru, a warrior from the hostile kingdom of Akusa, Sanae falls into the hands of the evil sorceress Yomihime. Accompanied by Navi, a resourceful glider pilot raised without parents, Izumo sets out to retrieve his realm’s sacred sword and learn to wield its mystical powers. Their mission to rescue Sanae requires defeating the legendary eight-headed serpent, Yamata-no-Orochi, which has risen once again.
