Synopsis

Across the globe, numerous projects are underway to explore the newly discovered planet Promethe. In Japan, under Dr. Oedo's supervision, construction of the Space Carrier Jasdum and the Planet Robot Dangard A is in progress. Ichimonji Takuma is a candidate to pilot Dangard A. His father, Ichimonji Dantetsu, was a celebrated space pilot. But after a mysterious accident, Dantetsu disappeared, and people held him responsible for the incident. To restore his father's reputation, Takuma strives to become a space pilot and see the project succeed. Will Takuma achieve his goal of becoming the pilot?
