Guided by the ideals of chivalry and the conviction that their strength can forge a more just society, they make their way through a story that revolves around a strange book, an ancient grievance, an unwavering faith, and a legendary inheritance.

As Xie Kanhua was about to be put to death at the Shanglin Celestial Palace, Su Baiyi tried to save him. The palace collapsed during the rescue, and Su Baiyi was carried off by Su Jian, the Demon Lord who had willingly shut himself away in a secluded prison for two decades. Then the Hero Conference of Xuanwei Town is held once more; Bai Jile lures Divine Official Xue, the second strongest martial artist in the world, into taking part, throwing the martial arts realm into disorder. To save the wounded Nangong Xi'er, Su Baiyi travels to the North Kunlun with Su Jian to call on Su Suomo, the founder of the Su family, while Yuling and Feng Zuojun each head to Qingcheng Mountain and the Demon Town to train in martial arts. Beneath the surface of rising tension, Yingzhou Immortal Island reappears. The invaders from the island issue a challenge to the martial artists, proclaiming that those who submit will thrive, and those who resist will be destroyed.
