Synopsis

In the ancient city, Lucius Modestus, a Roman architect facing difficulties, searches for inspiration to create groundbreaking designs. Feeling discouraged, his friends recommend he visit a local bath for relaxation. Despite the busy and loud atmosphere, Lucius decides to submerge himself in the water, only to discover a hidden passage that leads to a modern Japanese bathhouse. This unexpected find generates new ideas for his architectural work. Equipped with concepts that seem ahead of his time, Lucius strives to replicate what he observed, though his efforts are often hampered by limited resources. Still, the ingenuity of his designs might capture the public's interest and help restore his reputation as an architect.
