Synopsis

In a future marked by rising hostilities between Japan and China, humanity's crowning achievement is the Ocean Techno Polis, a state-of-the-art floating metropolis built upon the sea. A mysterious event destroys a Taiwanese submarine, and soon after, the Ocean Techno Polis itself catastrophically sinks. Kurase, an engineer who worked on the city's construction, rushes to save his family. On his journey, he confronts obstructions from the Japanese navy, which holds its own hidden agendas, and strives to uncover the truth behind the city's descent into the ocean.
