Qin Ze is a young man who has just started university. He has been skilled at singing since childhood, but after experiencing a traumatic event, he becomes unable to perform in front of an audience. Yet one day, his twin sister Qin Ya, a well-known singer, alters his destiny by requesting that he take her place.

After emerging victorious in a singing competition, Qin Ze attracted the interest of a major talent agency within the industry. But he soon realized he had been ensnared in a contractual trap—if he refused to sign, he would be hit with massive compensation demands. Torn between his aspirations and harsh reality, Qin Ze found himself at a crossroads. At the same time, Qin Ya joined a film crew, taking on her first significant acting role after leaving her previous career behind. This opportunity would decide whether her path as an actress would go smoothly. However, the involvement of global film star Lulu created obstacles for Qin Ya, as Lulu surpassed her in both popularity and acting ability.
