Valis: The Fantasm Soldier

Synopsis

The Japanese platform game series Mugen Senshi Valis, created by Telenet Japan, follows Yuko Asou, a high school student from the late 1980s. In the US, the titles are referred to simply as the Valis series. Yuko is entrusted with defending three distinct realms—the real world, the Spirit Realm, and the dream world called Vecanti—by wielding the magical sword Valis. This short animated piece served as a promotional clip for the Nintendo Famicom release of the game.
