Synopsis

This compilation features four slice-of-life stories. "The Rain and a Cat" follows Reki, Langa, and Miya as they head to the skatepark for a typical session but get caught in an unexpected rainstorm. Taking shelter at Reki's house, they decide to play Karuta, a traditional Japanese card game they have recently discovered. "Becoming Really Serious About Things" explores the history of Sakurayashiki and Nanjo, who were mostly overlooked throughout high school. Despite their constant competition and clashes, the story examines the deeper impact of their rivalry. "Morning Routine" offers a glimpse into the daily lives of Ainosuke and Kikuchi, uncovering the secrets behind their routines, their covert interactions, and the moments that strengthen their bond. Finally, "Hiromi, Do Your Best!" is a three-part short story that showcases Shadow, the night-time anti-hero, revealing his good-hearted and diligent side as he works at a flower shop during the day.
