In a future where a catastrophic event has left Earth in ruins, most of humanity has abandoned their physical forms and migrated to DEVA, an advanced space station orbiting the desolate planet, to exist digitally. Free from limitations like mortality and hunger, the inhabitants enjoy a tranquil life until Frontier Setter, a skilled hacker, breaches the system and spreads subversive messages among the populace. Perceived as a security risk, Frontier Setter is hunted by Angela Balzac, a steadfast officer of DEVA's law enforcement. Tracing the hacker’s signal back to Earth, Angela assumes a physical form by transferring her consciousness into a cloned body and descends to the planet below to confront the threat. On Earth, she teams up with Dingo, a charming operative, and as they delve into the mystery surrounding Frontier Setter, Angela uncovers shocking truths about both the desolate world humans once inhabited and the sanctuary above.
